Tim Campbell of the Winnipeg Free Press reports that former Aeros winger John Lammers (pictured right) will join the Moose for their games this weekend against the WBS Penguins.Lammers already has six goals and three assists in the Aces first six games of the year. Last year, Lammers had 26 points (12 goals, 14 helpers) in 57 games for the Aeros. He was decent in the playoffs, too, as the Aeros made it to the West finals. In 18 playoff games, Lammers contributed with eight assists.
(Update: Lammers was named ECHL player of the week on Tuesday)
"I thought not re-signing Lammers was the hugest mistake in the history of the planet," said Aeros fan Dave Pudry in a completely made up quote. "I, uh, mean (expletive deleted) huge. Right now, the Aeros can't score against the broadside of a barn, or whatever the hell that saying is. With Lammers, they could probably beat any team, including the 2008-09 New York Islanders."

So another ex-Aeros goes to the Moose! He was a good kid and we wish him well. A Rosa/Lammers Reunion(they were roomies last year as well).Between the two they just may outscore ....:-D
I remember well, Lammers getting a goal when puck bounced off his rear..that's 'playing hockey by the seat of ones' pants', LOL.
Yup, Mill lets another one get away to some other AHL team. Wonderful...
Well, in fairness to Mill, Lammers wasn't ours to keep. He was a part of the Dallas Stars organization, not the Minnesota Wild organization, and he was on loan to the Aeros last season because Dallas didn't have a team.
We can thank MILL for DAOUST..the Scrapper! Good Show!
