The Wild suffered some more injuries to their forwards in last night's shootout win over Edmonton. So you know what that means...
Cody Almond has been recalled from the Aeros and will be joining the Wild.
BTW: The Aeros defeated Lake Erie in Cleveland last night by a 2-1 score with the first goal from, that's right, Cody Almond. Chad Rau got the game-winner early in the third.

Oh, Joy (snicker).
Get used too it Aeros fans. Lots of frequent flyer miles this season to/from Minnysohta. And that's not even counting the injuries the Wild always seem to have.
Here's to a 60 minute game tonight, Wednesday's was more like 45.
Glancing at the Buffalo Sabres recent RECALLS (Szczechura, Kassian, McNabb, and "big" Joe Finley), the Aeros appear to be in a lot better shape than Rochester, going into tonight's game. Of course, 4-goal Derek Whitmore (who matched Casey Wellman's December, 2010 milestone last week) will be skating.
Unlike most AHL teams, the Amerks have had success on home ice, taking 8 of 12, with their wins against below-500 teams and their losses against above-500 teams.
Although a very large and physical team, recent recalls of key players put a lot of pressure on 28-year old netminder, David Leggio, signed by the Sabres in 2010, who got his start at the ECHL Florida Everblades, several years ago (when Anton Khudobin was called up by the Aeros).
Noteably, the Amerks have the League's worst PP "turnover" record (4 shorties), and the 4th worst PP success record.
Go Aeros!!!
