Looks like a good lineup. I'm looking forward to going to the games again this year. Last year was a real bummer!

Unfortunately, looks like a lock-out lineup :(

Has anyone heard anything about Ortmeyer?

Orts is still unsigned. By anybody.

Bummer. I really like Jed's playing style. You could always count on him giving a 100%.

Wish him the best.

Ortmeyer WILL be missed. So Palmieri hasn't been signed?
Too bad I like the duo Bulmer/Palmieri!

It seems Orts is an NHL wash-up, but I think he could be a leader for an AHL team. The question is will the $$$ be worth it to him.

Palmieri is still in the Wild's doghouse, and I doubt he really impressed the rest of the league, either.

Jed always had to prove he could still play once it was found out he prone to blood clots, had to start taking blood thinners, and blew out his ACL for the third time. Good article in the NY Times:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/17/sports/hockey/17ortmeyer.html

This quote really fits him:

“He’s a pretty astute player,” Sharks Coach Todd McLellan said. “He understands what we want to do and how we want to do it. I don’t know that he’s skilled enough or fast enough or strong enough to rely on any one of those three skills, so he puts it all together and becomes a usable part.”

But yeah, Palmieri....not impressed. I think he's a big guy relying on being big.
